On this particular occasion, I know you posted in all innocence, that's why I said to ask me at a match. Maybe there's a reason I can't post a full reply but let's just say that a post advertising an online programme of a club that used to be a customer of our current printer might could be an issue.
I’m well aware our local programme printers do a cracking job at many clubs in the area & beyond, so long may it continue. I’ll always buy one if available, as it helps to know who is on the field of play. They’re informative & tangible too (touchy-feely), but I will always support their production if it helps bring in a few coffers for a club.
Re the other Frome club (Collegians), based on their second half performance, they deserved the win last Tuesday evening. Personally, we’ll be in deepest Kernow for St. Ives v Wendron but I hope #UTB get back to winning ways tomorrow.
themoose Thanks for getting back on track, we seemed to change tactics in the 2nd half and it just didn't work - a lesson learnt probably.
Note: Whilst this forum has a section for general discussion, I don't really want to be advertising for other clubs, especially when the idea of free online programmes could lead to the demise of small businesses. I'd hoped that my original post had enough for Nigel to read between the lines but clearly he took it to heart instead. I expect I'll see him at a game one day and make the reasons clearer.
